Has anyone tried this or owns it?

My crunch tones on my amps I love for rhythm but not so much on leads.

Trying to smooth out the attack, add low mids and saturation without low end. My amps have large amounts of lows and the lows on my crunch channels are big and not right at all.

I use the Friedman Buxom and Source Audio Zio. Both do well to tighten lows and the Zio on the Low Cut mode actually makes single notes more creamy and smooth, and they pop better. Feels better under the fingers.

I'd like to find a boost or OD that adds the juice I want, while not increasing low end, thickening up mids and smoothing out the attack. My high gain channels have a better feel for leads. Trying to find the right post that will allow me to get that liquid sustaining lead tone and feel on my crunch channels.

Maybe the TC Spark Boost?

Revv, Bogner and Mesa amps...

Thanks!

Mesa Flux Drive is a good one. VFE Dragon is another, (hard to find though).

I like the Fortin offerings for maintaining chunk for rhythms, and also for leads. The HexDrive is great, as is the Fortin TS-9.

I've gone more towards EQ's with an OD. The Wampler EQquator is a great pedal coupled with an OD.

Another pedal I like is the new BBE Sonic Stomp Pro. Used in the loop, and judiciously, and works fantastic. Many rag on the Sonic Maximizers, but the key is to use as slightly and as needed as possible. A little goes a long way, and alot sounds like shit.

Thanks. I don't really use boosts for the high gain stuff except the Buxom and Zio to tighten some. That's about it.
This is more for classic rock, rock and grunge type stuff. For example, I love my Revv Green for rock rhythms but it nerds a boost or OD for my tastes, to get smooth, forgiving leads.

Does the Wampler Equated have gain or a good enough boost to add saturation?
I have a great EQ in my loop.
I front of the amp, I never love how EQs sound. I tried the Orange Two Stroke it sold it. Tried the Rockaway too.

All the videos I see of the sonic stomp are clean guitar and country. Weird. Must be meant for clean and low gain? Not sure I understand what it does.

Thanks for the suggestions! :)
