I know they're horrible, but they've managed to fuck up the last 4 things they've touched in under a month..

2 orders, (at work), one, they lost and damaged half of it, (over 6k worth of product for a customer. The second, was a Next Day Saturday Priority.. They claimed, "business closed, undeliverable". Its a Reddy Ice plant, one of the largest bagged Ice producers in the country, and a huge facility open 24-7, with multiple people foaming at the mouth waiting for this delivery for equipment that was down, costing them THOUSANDS per hour.. Fucking liars.. They never even attempted the delivery, based on the tracking locations..

Last week, I got a screaming deal on a Randall Thrasher 50.. LOST. "DELAYED", don't even know where it is..

Ordered a guitar on Tuesday, scheduled delivery yesterday.. It left NJ, went to NY, "DELAYED, BARCODE UNREADABLE", replaced, then to South Carolina, "DELAYED, BARCODE REPLACED", now it's in KANSAS CITY, "DELAYED".. I'm in Florida for fuck's sake! Geez, I know they suck, I know they've gotten bad, but man, they're just a downright pathetic joke. I should have followed my instincts and paid extra for 2-Day Air shipping.. Atleast it shows up, albeit 50/50 it's a day late.

I make sure the label is in one of those envelopes they supply, and I press it down hard, then tape any loose parts (the glue sucks). I'm also going to start putting a copy of the label inside the box so they can open it if it gets "lost".

FedEx has been dropping the ball recently. I experienced something so awful, so tragic, and so abysmal I don’t even want to think about it ever again.

That sucks man! It's strange how FedEx, UPS, and USPS vary from area to area. I'm in NJ and FedEx seems to be the best here followed by USPS. UPS is the worst for me. FedEx almost always shows up on time. USPS isn't too bad either with dates. UPS blows, I can almost guarantee with UPS my packages will arrive late. Beginning of July I ordered some fishing tackle, and it took over 3 weeks for UPS to get it to my house.

FedEx does the "nobody home when I've been home all day waiting for delivery" thing here too, I have a signature required package due tomorrow - Saturday - which makes it even more random and highly unlikely. It's FedEx Ground too, which is even worse.

I'll wait at home all day for nothing, as usual. Maybe they'll prove me wrong this time?

Thats happened to me before waiting on a new amp.. You get all hot and bothered like you're gonna get laid, then she stood you up.

They came through, as usual, for me again this week. Delivered on time. I'm pretty sure there are more reasons than a guitar web board can bitch about, but I'll take the good fortune when it happens.

Must be the FedEx guy I had , would drive back and forth on the main road opening up my packages and screaming "Mine now asshole " while pointing and laughing at me . Bastard , worst Fed Ex guy ever imo.

FedEx delivered earlier than expected; signature required, but they just left the package and said they obtained a signature. Not gonna make a big deal out of it since the same driver may have to deliver to me again in the future.

Box looks to be in good shape. Hopefully the contents are undamaged.

I hate to say it, but I stopped paying for signatures required when I buy labels. I know it sounds shitty, but what's the point? They don't follow instructions, and forge signatures, or dump it off anyway. They're still using Covid protocol avoiding contact.

Here's something real shitty that they do ALOT where I work.. Many times, I'll be expecting a Priority package that's guaranteed by 10:30AM. They forge MY signature as dropped off before 10:30, then it shows up later that afternoon.. Not just a couple times, ALOT. UPS has done it too.

I spend a vast majority of my work day dealing with FedEx fuckups, like completely next level mind blowing repeated drop the ball. We contract with them so we’re sort of stuck at this point, but they lose and break more shit than they successfully deliver

Welcome to the post covid world. Sounds like someone needs a hug !!

Fed Ex has been reliable for me here in Northern NJ in terms of on time delivery, accurate tracking etc. However.....

My Fed Ex guy likes to practice his "free throws" with my packages. I have seen him (and have him on camera) literally launching my packages like a basketball from like 20 feet away. One day I yelled out the window, "hope there was nothing fragile in there!" I called the local office to complain and got nothing but run around and placed on perma-hold.

keep the hug, I just want my packages delivered when they say they'll will be delivered, at least the same day; and I want my packages delivered undamaged.

on-time; undamaged. should be simple enough.

IMO

I cringe when I have a package sent to me and see that it is FedEx, they are always late with the deliveries. I once had a FedEx driver deliver a guitar to the person 2 doors down, complete wrong address. It took way too long to get that sorted out.

I’ve only had one experience where FedEx pulled the whole marked as delivered before delivered here in northern VA. I used to work for Ground as a loader/splitter in San Francisco. I did all this before the Amazon boom so I honestly don’t know how much worse it is splitting/loading anymore, but I have noticed packages getting misrouted a hell of a lot more than I ever have watching tracking.
