Except the god in your hypothetical wouldn't be all powerful if he couldn't have foreknowledge AND allow you to have free will to go with it simultaneously So, case closed.
No, it's just that those two things are mutually exclusive — either he has foreknowledge and you can't have free will, or you have free will and he doesn't have total foreknowledge. I personally think he could be all-powerful while not have total foreknowledge anyways. Check out greg boyd's open-theism.

A youtube video by one of the most mentally unstable people on the planet isn't going to convince me of anything . Got anything else ?

Keep liberals away from guns and these types of things would stop , you do understand that 99% of school and mass shooters in general identify as leftists I hope.
Let's see proof of your 99% accusation. Aaaaand... ever heard of the Second Amendment? Funny how you claim that Dems hate the Constitution and then you propose taking away a constitutional right for people you don't like. Typical MAGAt.

You really are an idiot, ccn. Get some help.

idiot sandwich what are you use this one.gif

If he is all powerful then he can make both happen, he can have foreknowledge and you can have your bodily autonomy, which is glaringly obvious you do, end of story.

Can God create a rock so heavy even he can't lift it?

Yes, he can do both. It doesn't make any logical sense until you realize an all powerful God can do anything he desires so even something seemingly impossible can be done, like raising someone who has been dead 3 days. What a blessing!

Despite what the media insist is the case Christian white males are not a threat to anybody .

Ah... so it's racial minorities who really are the christian "patriots" who want to impose a theocracy on our Constitutional republic. Got it.

Well,

Are you just suggesting god can do anything, logical or otherwise? If logic is malleable, how are you sure that the logic you employ to deduce his existence and offer of salvation is valid?

Anything is possible in a fictional story. This is why it works.

If he is all powerful, then what could he not do? All human logic can be defied. You guys talk about human logic as some infallible pillar of all that is true but it is human, and subject to fault.

I guess. He can't be evil can he? :devilish:

...you can say he can defy logic, but how is that convincing for people who need to be saved by him? Why not believe anything then?

Why not believe anything? Because we have the testimony of the apostles who were all but one martyrs for Christ. Those who walked with the Lord in person. It's taken on faith, not logic.

Especially since the story was spit-balled for 1,500 years by 50+ writers long before it was translated/interpreted into what we call the Bible.
That definitely explains the night and day differences in tone between the old and new testaments. How else did God go from a bad ass vengeful motherfucker to a freaking liberal tree hugging forgiver? More jarring than when they switched up Darrens on the original Bewitched for cripes sake.

Why have you decided to take what the apostles say vs what Mohamed says, for example? Presumably you have a logical reason based on evidence, etc. How can god expect us to differentiate what's true and false if not by logic? And if that logic is ultimately not applicable, how could it be our faults for not believing? Do you see the problem?

God: "Denialist, you are hereby condemned for not believing!"
Me: "Umm, how was I supposed to know the bible was true"?
God: "It says so"
Me: "So does the Koran"
God: "There's better evidence for the Bible"
Me: "Oh, so I was supposed to use logic and reason?"
God: "Yeah bitch"
Me: "But this guy on the internet told me logic doesn't work"
God: "Well he was wrong and is going to hell now too"
Me: "Damn that's some cold shit"
God: "Well, I'm god and you can't challenge my verdicts"
Me: "Of course. But actually, I used my reason to conclude this whole thing is just made up"
God: "Nope. I just made it that way to test your faith."
Me: "Yeah but again then why shouldn't I have gone with the arab?"
God: "Because I am the true god"
Me: "Seems like you're just fucking with people's heads then"
God: "....TO HELL WITH DENIALIST"
Me: "Yeah bitch!!!?"

I take it on faith that the apostles, the martyrs, were testifying to the truth of Christ. Mohammed did not live a Christ like existence and the Koran reflects that and yet even the Korah confesses that Christ is a great prophet. They just refuse to say he is the son of God. So the saints and martyrs speak to the truth. This isn't as hard as you are making it.

Geographical location of where someone was raised is the deciding factor here 99.9 times out of 100.

Simple logic, and reason

Orthodoxy is eastern. I live in the United States. You shouldn't assume I have zero critical thinking skills.

@VonBonfire

I'll preface this real quick, every Christian I've asked this question has the same answer.

The Question: If you were born in Afghanistan, what religion would you follow?
