While we all know they've always been a polarizing band bringing out their lovers and haters, it's hard to think of a cooler thing for guys in their 60's to be doing than opening this amazing new venue. We've all seen the magnificent visuals inside this place by now, but this is the closest view I've seen to the band's performance. Check it out>>>

It's very nice. I worked on that project in it's early phases. Pandemic came and was afraid of losing my jobs as they did many lay off and the construction site got stopped at one point. I then decided to move to something else but when I see all those cool photos and videos of the venue, I wish I would have kept believing in the project.

After seeing this stuff, and the visuals from the outside of the sphere at night, I would love to see a hood show there. It’s crazy how big that is. When they zoom back from the nose bleed seats, it’s huge. You would have to get good tickets.

We had a chance to go opening night but I’m sure 3/4 of their stuff would be post Joshua Tree which to me was the last hope for U2. Maybe a song was ehh after but 1987, I was done.

Wait am I missing something? I am under the impression that there is no live act, it's just a soundtrack and then a billion lights. Personally, it isn't for me. Would probably be cool to be immersed in some ancient civilization sort of thing though..

Real show with real live U2. Could have gone but again in my book the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. I was way more excited about TESLA on Saturday night. Cheaper, louder, less people -minus one douche cake in the crowd, and frankly better in my ears.

They're doing a tribute to the Achtung Baby album, with some other stuff thrown in. Barely any new songs.

Looks incredible. I just hate every asshole holding up their phones..
Pretty impossible not to in that scene. If you get a chance, check out Zakk Wylde's take on cell phones at concerts in the new Pantera interview with Rick Beato. Zakk can be a lil annoying with the non-stop talking, but he makes some great points regarding concerts in the modern age.
