I don't do anything for Halloween but I like your idea of Eddie Van Helsing. Instead of dressing as the actual Snake Plisken, how about Snake Pigskin or Snake Foreskin?

One of my favorite time of year!
Work does trick-or-treating around the building, pot luck lunch, a costume contest & other games. Since my wife and I work in the same building we do a couple's costume. This year we're doing Monster's Inc. She's going as Sully and I'm going as Mike Wazowski.
We'll be getting the yard decorations out this weekend. We got a couple of new inflatables for this year but this is what we put out last year.

I can't eat my food if the people surrounding me are covered in thick face paint or makeup it doesn't matter what the event is. It's gross. It was better repellent when I still had the meth trailer. Nobody dared to come up that driveway towards that thing. I didn't have locks for about three years, just boot the door in....if you had the guts to come up on the porch.... Everyone is gated here anyways, you don't come past the gate.

I was thinking of painting and wrapping some garden bed stakes or something up like EVH's guitars, but I already have most everything for Plissken. I see a few here are going as Scrooge.
