Seemed to be a perceptible difference in the comparison video but it's a pretty subtle one.
They didn't give any single-note examples - could be that it wasn't audible in that context.
 
Never used one of those claws specifically. I have always used standard claws for all my trem guitars. Last year I installed my first tremolno, which has its own version of a "locking claw". There is a tone difference that is noticeable, at least to me, between the usual schaller or other "trem-stop" and spring designs and the tremolno. Whether that is due to the claw itself or the replacement of a spring with the tremolno, I cant say, but there is a difference... Tremolno sounds a little thicker or more bassy than a standard claw and a trem stop.
 
IMO I doubt you'll hear much of a difference. If the current claw works is not broken I don't think it's justifiable to spend 60 bucks on a replacement that does the same thing pretty much.
 
I have been using the Sure Claw for years now and love them..I have 2 spares ready to go on my next Floyd Rose tremelo eqipped guitars.
