I personally recommend it. That’s all you need to know.

The only true “claw”

Seemed to be a perceptible difference in the comparison video but it's a pretty subtle one.
They didn't give any single-note examples - could be that it wasn't audible in that context.

Never used one of those claws specifically. I have always used standard claws for all my trem guitars. Last year I installed my first tremolno, which has its own version of a "locking claw". There is a tone difference that is noticeable, at least to me, between the usual schaller or other "trem-stop" and spring designs and the tremolno. Whether that is due to the claw itself or the replacement of a spring with the tremolno, I cant say, but there is a difference... Tremolno sounds a little thicker or more bassy than a standard claw and a trem stop.

IMO I doubt you'll hear much of a difference. If the current claw works is not broken I don't think it's justifiable to spend 60 bucks on a replacement that does the same thing pretty much.

I have been using the Sure Claw for years now and love them..I have 2 spares ready to go on my next Floyd Rose tremelo eqipped guitars.

So I'm no trem guy all my days but....I have one axe that has a floyd. Anyone who has a opinion on these verses the standard metal bracket let's hear it.

Well, I don't have an opinion, but I have amost 40 years experience with FR Trems. In all those years, I've never had a spring pop off a claw (or the block either) which I think would be the true purpose of this device if they really wanted to sell it.
I keep the back cover off my trem simply because I'm too lazy to screw it back on after string changes. Test this . . . . Put your finger on a spring and play a string . . . . . Did you feel that?!?!?!? I didn't think so. :ROFLMAO:
If you did, I can say without a doubt that, the chances of that tiny vibration working it's way back to the strings (while fighting the frequencies coming from the bridge) which are locked and clamped at anywhere from 180-225 Lbs per square inch is pure insanity. I saw this a while back I actually laughed out loud . . . . . Are we suckers that will buy anything?
