If any one cares. TGP got really messed up the last few weeks

TGP deserves what it gets. That site is trash and is staffed by trash and mostly patronized by trash. They lost their shit when I contested vaccines during the height of it being the cool thing to stick in your arm. They went into meltdown and I was quickly banned. I hope the site falls and never comes back again. Heck yes, what a piece of shit that place is.

I made one post last night after I got a "verifying secure connection" popup. Then logged in today, and can't post again.

That site has gotten so big, and the mod team was cut down to the concrete foundation around 2020. It's a real shame.

My exact experience the last 36 hours: log on, read, give Likes but cannot post (I get the giant OOPS). Thx Foken, I was thinking those particulars were a problem on my end. It appears to be TGP incompetence.
 
I notice TDPRI has had all kinds of problems lately. Super slow loading. Many complaint threads. Members are bailing. Rig talk will maybe see a movement of guitar douches into this site. TDPRI and strat-talk are on the same level as TGP. A bunch of boomer mouth breather soy boys who go nuts if you tell them tv is a septic pipe into your home. I was unbanned recently there and thought about making a thread to go down in flames with, but that place is so lame dick I just logged out and didn't come back!
 
The new name for the place when they get it sorted out should be "The Gay Place" or TGP for short.

I hope Bonamassa buys it and runs it with an iron fist. Unleash his vengeance on them with tan pants giveaways, glowing siggy Epiphone reviews, and threads quoting Joe as ssaying effects pedals are for women and queers.

I need to log in there (a rarity) and change my settings so I don’t get 1-2 emails every single day. I sometimes check those emails but it’s the same tired shit…sigh and delete.

I wouldn't know because I don't hang there but Denial Of Service attacks can affect anyone competence or not. Do they have the right security software? That's the question. Is the rest of Tan Gay Pants incompetent? Don't know. :dunno:

That thread is pretty wild though. It started off pretty fresh and clever, then it kinda become a vehicle to make fun of campfired for a little bit, then I kinda left it for a bit but it was mentioned in other threads constantly. I never realized how much if my online lexicon was TGP related until I started positing here lol

It stays on page one a lot, after all these years. But a lot of it is mindless simpleton posts, no imagination.
 
If it's a band width
problem. they shouldn't hold 6000 pages for 12 yrs.
auto delete after 2 yrs is plenty of time.
 
Well Scott just posted a sticky that theyre aware of whats going on. Trying to figure out a solution
