Where will we be in 250 years?

If the ice melted off land, and made the ocean taller, then at one point the land was unfrozen and the ocean was taller anyways so what you seem to be telling me is we are coming full circle. I don't think the coastlines will be miles inland in 250 years but I suppose it's possible since the boogeyman is real.

Glaciers are made of fresh water and not salt water, does that mean anything to you?

A once unfrozen land was covered in freshwater rain/ice/snow that is now melting.. So we are coming full circle.

I’m telling you that basically every climate study shows that we are trending upwards in temps, ocean levels rising, and polar ice melting, so I believe that trend will continue for the next 250 years as well, resulting in higher ocean levels.

If you want to think of it as a circle, then sure. We are, as I said, on the tail end of an ice age, so temperatures are rising. Where it will stop? I have no idea man. It could stop tomorrow, or could stop when the whole world is a hot swampy mess. But what I believe is that it will keep getting warmer for at least 250 years, as was the premise of my post.

The world becoming a swamp sounds to good to be true. I grew up on a swamp so I love wetlands. And you can't play football or golf on swampland so, bonus!!!

I do believe those things, in the same way I believe the grass in my yard is green.

The issue being you putting words in my mouth to try and direct the conversation to whatever it is you have in mind. You do it every time. It’s problematic because A, it’s poor form, and B you aren’t familiar enough with the topic to make inferences.

I really wasn't being much of a prick tbh you were just short fused, which is out of character. I know you bust your ass on the weekends per previous discussions and I figured it was probably why you weren't in the mood for any shit at all so I tried to be cool.
