Soldano SLO Fuse Help

Can someone here send me a link to the exact type of 1A Fuse I need for a SLO? I accidentally bought a slo-blo one like a moron. Didn't read correctly to NOT use a slo-blo lol. Thanks in advance

I'm disappointed the SLO doesn't take a SLO-blo. Anyhow, it might be helpful to provide details about the amp model and which particular fuse you're replacing. E.g., using the example of a recent amp I was working on: "Which fuse type to replace the Peavey VK100 line fuse?" In my case the board was marked for F3AL250V, i.e. fast-blow 3A, glass/low breaking capacity type, rated for 250V. If you have the old fuse that blew, and you know it was the correct type, it might have markings on it that tell you what type it is or that you can search the web for.

It's a 2014 SLO-100. Replacing the 1A fuse. I'm guessing I need a fast-blow, but I want to confirm. There's no marking to let me know that info on the previous fuse. Just that it's 1A and 250V. It says specifically not to use slo-blo's, but I saw there are extra fast fuses and medium-blow, so I just want to make sure I get the right one for it

Somehow I didn't read the "not" part and ordered 1A 250V SLO-blo fuses, but it's ok since other amps of mine use those

Ah, got it, thanks for the extra info. Looking online, that would be the HT fuse I think. I tried finding some schematics, didn't see any fuse specifications on them besides "1A", and I don't know enough about the SLO100 to tell you what fuse comes stock. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

On the back it says don’t use slo-blo implied for both and the 312 marking on the 5A fuse I know means it’s fast. I’m guessing it’s probably fine to just go with a fast-blo 1A 250V. I just want to confirm it to be safe to do so

That’s weird because I’ve had so many techs (both real and in their head) tell me SLO blow for the HT. But I remember a discussion literally decades ago on the Music Electronics Forum that involved some of the heavy hitters and they came to the consensus that SLO blow typically wouldn’t protect the OT. So fast was correct there.

But the Mains fuse is almost always (actually always IMLE) SLO blow because of the in-rush current from the filaments.

But if you are running DC heaters that might change things and my only guess as to why they would use fast blow there.

I have never had any nuisance blows from using fast blow HT fuses.
