Our government: They spy on people without warrants, they chisel every penny they can manage through taxes and then blow it on stupid projects and wars no one wants and they still want more money. They tried to coerce everyone into taking shots. They control all social media and media in general. They are letting anyone across the border to intentionally mess society up. They are completely corrupted and working against the interests of the common man. Their comeuppance is not far off.

Some of that I agree with but you just flipped from attacking Russia to the USA. The US is f'd up however unfortunately I think both parties are f'd up. I have said it before I prefer Republicans but not Trump's brand of republican. I think Trump is too self obsessed to be a President. He doesn't take wise counsel. The President needs to be more balanced and considered than him. I think the Democrats have lost the plot though for sure in all sorts of ways and I agree they are not following the rule of law properly and if you want to call that corrupt then yes they are corrupt.

What would you call the state shutting down your business as “non-essential” or limiting your freedom of movement and association? Churches were shut down. Vaccines coerced and so on. Many constitutional rights were infringed with majority compliance and relatively little pushback. Basically our government and country was hijacked. I’m not advocating violence, I’m pointing out that having guns did not prevent it and I don’t think having guns stopped it either.

I got news for all you American citizens on this forum.....if we don't continue to help Ukraine fight off Russia by arming them, war will come to us FAR FASTER than if we sit here and ignore it. It's only a matter of time. This current situation reminds me of what I learned about the years prior to Pearl Harbor. The attitude in the USA was 'stay out of it! Not our business!!' by a large percentage of people. Yet, what did that get us?
Attacked in 1941. History always repeats itself, and if we 'stay out of it' ie stop helping Ukraine then it is simply a matter of time before we are attacked.
This is what disgusts me about a portion of the Republiclown party...a small number of them want to derail the aid we give Ukraine. For the first time ever, a political party (or a small portion of) supports a murderous Russian dictator.
I understand the attitude of the VATNIKS on this forum, that's why they joined since they for the most part don't ever post SHIT about gear. But US citizens? All of you need to take a history class/Geopolitics so you can really understand what's going on, and what's at stake.

Merkle and Hollande both stated they had no intention of supporting the Minsk accords, they were to buy time for Ukraine to arm up, train and prepare for conflict with Russia. The first Minsk agreement was drafted in 2014.
The CIA and US State Department overthrew the democratically elected pro-Russian government in the Maidan coup; including locking up unarmed government supports in a building, and burning them alive.
Since the Maidan coup in 2014, Ukraine had been denying ethnic Russians their language, schools, churches, and other rights, and then started shelling residential areas in the eastern territories Donbas and Luhansk, until Russia acted to stop it.
The US, NATO and EU did not engage with Russia in negotiations as that was not part of the plan (see Minsk accords above), the plan was to use Ukraine, and a promise of NATO and EU membership, military training and build-up of equipment in Ukraine to pressure Russia to respond; Even after the special military operation began, Ukraine was seeking peace, with Turkiye mediation; those talks broke down after Boris Johnson met with Zelensky.
Ukraine, Zelensky and the Ukrainian people were played by NATO and the EU; used as pawns to provoke Russia in what Vicky "the cow" Nuland and other chickenhawks and neocons thought would weaken Russia militarily, economically, and politically, they actually thought Russians would rise up overthrow Putin! Instead, a majority of Russians see the conflict instigated by NATO and EU as an existential threat, and many want Russia to be even more aggressive.
Given Ukrainian attacks inside of Russia, and what we are learning about Ukrainian support of the Isis terrorist massacre, Putin has stated that will Russia not only take additional ethnic Russian territories in the east and southwest, Russia will go even further in Ukraine territory to create a buffer zone.
Instead, they failed, and the West is slowly losing interest, while they continue to launder taxpayer money to "fund" Ukraine, Russia continues push westward and only the deployment of NATO forces in Ukraine will slow down the Russian advance.
I can't wait to see the people of Ukraine realize they were used by the West to their own destruction. Remember when the US government told us with absolute certainty that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, which turned out to be a lie? That's what the US and its' allies did to Ukraine.
Too bad, most of the Ukrainian men are dead or wounded so they won't be much of a threat to the West, but I fully expect Ukrainian terrorists to attack the West after the war is over and they realize the West destroyed them

If you look at every US conflict since the Spanish-American War, you will see nearly all were based on lies, fabrications or purposeful negligence (the attack on Peal Harbor). Once you see the truth, you can't unsee it.

The founders recommended staying out of European entanglements. You could insert "Vietnam" in the same place as Ukraine. People said the same basic thing then. Interventions haven't worked well. You wish to continue bad policies. I don't think it's a good idea.
I won't support a government who tortures and imprisons orthoodox monks. In fact, I oppose them. Stick that in your geopolitics. Your fear tactics about my kids having to fight in europe also don't scare me.
