PSA on used 50 Stealth

I was in Atlanta Discount Music today and they had a used 5150 stealth head 50 watt for $899. Thought it was a great price on one. Looked to be in good shape and some guys were checking it out when I was there, so don’t know if it’s still there. It sounded as they should.

I guess it depends on what you’re looking for, modern vs vintage flavor. They’re pretty stocked up on decent amount of guitars and amps right now. I’d say worth a visit. They have the new Friedman Plex 50 too.

I'm a big nerd who checks the GC Used site almost every day during my early morning meetings and I see these for $799 at least once a month. In fact there is one on there right now for $829. Sometimes you roll the dice on GC but something to consider if someone is actually looking for one of these.

But also you should support your local stores if you're nearby of course. Just for anyone who'd have to have it shipped anyway.

The cheapest used one on GC right now is $999. I’ve never seen one for less than 1K.

Well, this is the EL34 version. While technically a "stealth", I think most of us refer to the Stealth as the all black 6l6 version.

I assumed you were referring to the black 6l6 version.

I've typically seen the EL34 version for $800-$900, but the black one usually $900-$1100.
