Since when did you become a John Lennon/Beatles fan ?
That's what got me into guitar as a teenager. I kind of grew out of them though. I can only listen to them for so long these days after hearing it endlessly at that age.

I do like them though.

Yeah a lot of it I can't listen to anymore these days.

Not I am The Walrus though. I can listen to that at the drop of a hat. Good Morning, Good Morning too.

I am the Walrus is probably my favourite. I like the video clip of it too.

There's just a lot of songs they did that are sort of cheesy to me these days... Like back in the USSR or their early stuff like "she loves you". It's just very "white" to me after decades of listening to the blues. Then I went off the blues partly because it's not my culture a bit and partly because I just listened to too much of it over the years and just did thumbpicking as you know. I really like the blues but it doesn't lend itself to solo guitar really. Blues is also high school whereas jazz is college to paraphrase BB King.

Really anything before Rubber Soul is super cheesy. I mean there's a few good songs, but nothing like everything from 1966 on.

If it wasn't for the technical aspect of Chet Atkins stuff which is very demanding and pretty much genius, I'd say some of his stuff is a bit cheesy too - but compared to very trad 3 chord strumming country where your dog died and your wife ran away it's miles better. It makes the guitar a complete instrument like the piano. There are limitations to it because not every song lends itself to an alternating bass and it's better in 4/4 than say 3/4. Also if the melody line spans a large range or jumps around either rhythmically or tonally it sometimes gets hard for that style.

You seem to value abnormal (and say things just to say them, see above) because you think it makes you look progressive which has been brainwashed into you to be "right." But times are changing and the elite appreciate your participation in promoting things which goals are purposely divisional and seek to boost control over the population. There is no world where transclown story hour for children is on a healthy evolutionary path. I don't know if you realize that you're participating in cultural eugenics or not, but it's not normal or valiant. Worse is that your kids are going to "enjoy" the fruits of your labor.

I don’t value abnormal, I just don’t think it’s wrong. I find it to be equal. Personally, I think it’s weird and unnecessary. As stated before I have no desire to bring my kids to one… so I don’t. Problem solved.
You guys just make a giant shitstorm out of everything you don’t like. If public schools
made transgendered studies part of the curriculum, then outrage would be appropriate.
bitching and moaning about something that isn’t mandatory, that other people do by choice, that affects you in absolutely no other way outside of your desire to think it’s going to change the world around you, is unnecessary and negative and imo a big waste of time.
It’s like chicken little but from grown adults

That's all I'm saying.

Leave our kids alone, it is confusing enough.
But it isn’t YOUR kids. It’s other people that are choosing to bring THEIR OWN kids to it.

And honestly, I think it’s only confusing to people who don’t have any or little understanding of that culture. Understanding it is a very easy way to not be confused by it anymore, or frightened

based on my own experience of having children who are exposed to people drag, it does not seem to be a confusing topic in the least.

So, do you get paid by the post or is this more of a monthly minimum requirement kind of thing?

My children have been exposed to drag, but not at story hours. The first time I remember was on dancing with the stars a couple seasons back. It took them a few episodes but they noticed one of the dudes looked like a man in rehearsals and a women for the actual performance. It wasn’t very confusing or detrimental for anyone.

Also we watch family feud a lot and Rupauls drag race advertises big time on that channel

I left Las Vegas because of the exposure to questionable moralities, but to each their own and all that jazz. I was long time friends with Kenny Kerr who died shortly after I left, but he would likely have agreed that children shouldn't have ever been part of the act. Just as most of my lbg friends agree that 99% of the mainstream virtue signalling divisive bullshit doesn't sit well with them and is regressive to positive events that took place in the 90s/00s. But, what would any of those people know? ?‍♀️ These types of things aren't about equality or inclusion, they are about divisiveness.
Anyways, enjoy your vacation.

I was watching a Jurassic Park cartoon on Netflix the other day thinking if it's a kids show at least I won't get any gay shit (even if they were pushing their diversity bandwagon) and they suddenly had two girl characters becoming lesbians - so I switched that off too. I can't believe they are pushing gay shit in kid's cartoons. It's pretty sad that first I have to try and watch kids shows sometimes to avoid all the "adult content" and gay shit... and now it's being pushed at kids too.

Thank you for giving a little background on why you feel the way you do, but to be honest, I don’t think the story hour is ok because it’s good for the lgbt community, I just think they have a right to do it. I really do not subscribe to any agenda or any crap like that, I just think people can offer a program reading to children whether they are in dresses or not.
My girls have had to go through active shooter training in shcool since pre-k. An actual convicted pedophile works at the gas station we (used to) go to all the time. Recess was canceled on their last day of school because a family of black bears were hanging out in the playground.
on the list of things I have to worry about for my children, drag queens would not even be on it.

Well the vocals sound like if Lemmy sang them after he died, but I’m going with it.
Please enjoy this song about tube amps recorded on my kemper

BURN!
Big Iron, Big Heat
Vacuum tubes can't be beat
Hot glass, orange glow
Let those electrons flow

Let's floowwwwww

Follow the cathode
Into the stack
Then through the phase inverter
No turning back

Once the valves open
You cannot hide
Once it begins to red plate
You've been rectified

Vacuum
Tube
Powered
Furnace

No negative feedback
Push Pull pyromaniac
Non Master Volume Steam

Fragile harmonics
Can't survive in a crystal lattice
No, they can't survive

Vacuum
Tube
Powered
Furnace

Fuel
Air
Spark
Vacuum

I'm not confused myself nor frightened by it personally. Again, it is the kids I'm worried about. Our society succeeds by (intelligent) mature consenting adults with a penis and a vagina getting together. A man dressing up as a woman for kids or lopping off said penis to pretend to be a girl is not helping. But generally, I don't have a problem with gay people.

Enjoy the decline.

PS: I'll check out your clip later this weekend when I have more free time

I would say drag and cutting off one’s penis are wildly different things though and don’t belong in the same conversation. Drag is about getting dressed up and putting on a show. It’s more like cosplay or larping. Their characters just happen to be female.

Why? Sickos...

Drag is about getting dressed up and putting on a show that is inherently, intrinsically sexual for children in what is traditionally a safe, wholesome place for children. I don't see what you guys are getting so worked up about. Just like, different strokes, maaaaaaaaaan.
