What grounds did they rule cities have this authority? Or do you just want homeless people off city streets?

Watch the videos or look up the decision. I want the homeless to have homes.

The majority opinion argues that criminalizing camping isn’t criminalizing homelessness which it de facto does. And Gorsuch’s opinion notes that it includes criminalizing Israel protest camps for example. Sounds about right.

I used to live on the corner of Hawthorn and Formosa in Hollywood. Right between Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. It was a great area. I want it cleaned up. Is it a bad thing to want a neighbood to be safe for the residents and also to look nice? And FUCK Israel protest camps.

It’s understandable to want a safe and clean neighborhood. That’s not the issue. There are already laws against crime, including littering. You may be for the Israeli genocide but you're equally affected in the cases of protests that you do support.

Actually, it is.

You may be for the Israeli genocide but you're equally affected in protests that you might support.

Hamas took hostages. They haven't returned them. They started this war and have rejected 17 cease fire offers. When you show the same concern for 1.2 million Muslims in internment camps in China, 500,000 dead in Syria at the hands of Assad, Rohinga Muslims in Myanmar, etc, then let me know. There's no genocide in Gaza. People die in war...sad but true. Israel warns when they're going to attack and tells people where they'll attack and gives them time to get out of the way. Hmmmm, what other nation does that? Oh, that's right, NONE. Over 100,000 Israelis displaced from their homes in Northern Israel because Hezbollah is shelling the fuck of their cities, but I don't hear you calling that genocide. Hmmm.

I notice you didn't mention people living in tents on the sidewalks and the increases in crime.
I'm saying that the laws against crime already exist. Perhaps a law against encampments is a better option than de facto outlawing homelessness. It's messed up.

Because that's not genocide. When Israel starts suffering 10's or 100's of thousands of indiscriminate civilian deaths and being systematically driven from the land without no options except starve and die, I'll call it genocide.

War is hell. Collateral damage is a reality of war. They've rejected 17 cease fire offers. No options? Bullshit. Israel trucks tons of food into Gaza every day....that's genocide? Please.

Also, the Supreme Court ruled this past week that none of the alphabet agencies can make up laws on the fly and then enforce them as if they were actual laws passed by Congress. The 2 worst agencies were the EPA and ATF, passing laws that instantly turn law abiding citizens and businesses into criminals with no due process at all. This is a huge blow to the deep state leviathan ruling over people with unelected turds deciding something they don’t like is all the sudden illegal.
Congress makes the laws, we elect our congressional officials, if they get out of line according to the Constitution we replace them. That BS has gone on far too long.

The biggest danger our country faces is the managerial class. The unelected government bureaucrats. They make bad decisions and choices without repercussions constantly. The little power that they have in their specific role they wield it like a claymore. Hang a few for the deaths and pain they have caused our countrymen and see how quickly things get better.

For example clean up the abc agencies. Whoever authorized the no knock night raid on the dude they killed for no reason other than to fuck with someone. After they killed him for defending his wife and home they have done away with the body camera footage and other evidence. Because he legally bought some guns? Antique weapons? So what if he sells them? This is the USA. It’s fucking legal. Under castle law doctrine in this state it is legal to fire at the police or law enforcement if they bust in your home in the middle of the night without announcing who they are or if you can’t identify them. Of course if you do you’re dead. But your family will probably get some money.

And after working for a branch of the doj for over two decades I have seen some travesties of justice. Hell I have even been involved in a few. I’m no angel.

Can’t remember where, but a dude shot, maybe killed a cop or two in a situation like this and was found not guilty.

Yeah right is right. No knock warrants are designed for real bad situations and people. They know going in there’s going to be gunkata happening. However it’s being misused as well. All military and law w enforcement take an oath to uphold the constitution…not elected officials or non elected administrators who don’t have the courage to do what they want their personnel to do.

In other news...

if illegals weren't counted on the US census, the demoncrats would loose approximately 20 seats in the House.
