IOC calls tests that sparked vitriol targeting boxers Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting impossibly flawed

From the article:

“I need hardly say if we start acting on suspicions against every athlete of whatever, then we go down a very bad route,” he said.

He rejected the testing in its entirety.

“There’s a whole range of reasons why we won’t deal with this,” Adams said. “Partly confidentiality. Partly medical issues. Partly that there was no basis for the test in the first place. And partly data-sharing of this is also highly against the rules, international rules.”

“The whole process is flawed,” Adams added. “From the conception of the test, to how the test was shared with us, to how the tests have become public, is so flawed that it’s impossible to engage with it.”

So, exactly how were the tests themselves, flawed? Perhaps we can get our resident Professor Dan with his 47 Doctorates to explain it to all of us uneducated and ill informed idiots. When done, perhaps one of the others can tell us all about their vast knowledge of art and the relation of certain works to the opening ceremony. I'm 110% certain they were all aware of Dionysus and the works revolved around a party that specifically led destruction of Troy. Because that's what the Olympics are all about, right? Destruction? Bring on the mental gymnastics, but there will be no trophies.

If it were a woman she could have put the issue to rest in less than 15 seconds. The fact that he hasn't tells us everything we need to know.

Somewhere inbetween but having higher levels of testosterone and XY chromosomes it's unfair on women to fight someone like that.

Yeah, seems they are playing games here, no pun intended.

Redacted did a whole thing about it, it's a rare condition where both sets of chromosomes and sometimes both sexual organs.

It's just a bunch of bullshit that they didn't know.

A car and a truck aren't the same thing. Khelif is an El Camino and there needs to be as many leagues as needed to address these things. The issue is not about anything other than fairness. The media will call us bigots. The left will say that we're misinformed, yet neither will provide actual based in reality reasoning

Am I supposed to respond or is this one of those times you talk about me and then call me a psycho for responding to you?

You are very unstable like that

Eh fuck it I’ll answer anyways. If the question is “why is it flawed”? You simply need to reread the article. The quote literally says why they think it’s flawed in the same quote that starts with saying that it’s flawed.

Don’t need a doctorate for that, but I appreciate you coming to me for help regardless

I don't really care that the trans are allowed to compete. My logic is that the olympics has always been about fostering global cooperation aka a one world government so this is the natural progression towards Babylon aka confusion and by confusion I don't mean a chinese philospher. If you believe in sovereign nations and you are still watching that trash then you deserve to see men vs women. Don't pitch your tent towards Sodom and then bitch about the view. How's that for a contrarian take?

In this instance, no one is saying she’s trans though. People are free to make it out to be whatever they want, but it’s really as simple as the Olympics have their own guidelines to compete as a woman, and this boxer meets all those guidelines. End stop.

If people want to talk about changing the rules for future competitions then that is great, but being upset about what has already happened is pretty pointless outside of wanting a reason to be upset about something.

I can't really offer a counter argument and even if I did it's meaningless to me. The olympics is a tool to help bring about a single global order. I oppose it on that grounds so I just don't watch any of it. If others followed suit it would cease to be a problem. When you get your heart all tied up into beauty pageants and some furry ass dude is this year's winner it's going to disappoint you, but again, I oppose pageants on moral or biblical grounds. They aren't godly so that's just the fruits of all this stuff coming into season. Perhaps you can understand this viewpoint.

I think the world would be a better place if most of those sports didin't exist at all so that pretty much settles it for me. Shot put is retarded. So is chucking a disc around. So is jumping over a bar. Who gives a crap? Not me.

This isn’t really directed at you, but there is no counter to the argument. Its not even an argument, it’s just what happened. It’s not my opinion or my take on the scenario, it’s just what happened. The Olympics say your birth certificate and passport have to say female to compete as a female. Both of hers say female, so she competed as a female.

But yes I agree with you about the pageantry of it all. Damn if I don’t love the World Cup though
