I’m curious though, if one says they want to punch you in the mouth, does that really constitute a threat? ?

I don’t think so.
I didn’t dare insinuate he threatened me because he’s sensitive to that stuff, but his exact words were “I wish you were here so I could punch you in the mouth”. So not really a threat, but he shouldn’t wonder why I call him “tough guy” either

The way I said it, fuck no. I'm not an idiot. He opened his ignorant fucking mouth and hurled a ridiculous insult at me and I pointed out that if he had said it to my face I would have punched him in the mouth.

And the whole punch in the mouth thing was Dan being a little bitch about me using a hypothetical situation involving him having to defend his family in one of the gun threads. At which point he made a comment like “ Don’t ever talk about my family”. As if I was attacking his family. Like I would ever do something like that. And yeah, it pissed me off and if it was a real world situation I’d m pretty sure I would punch ANYONE in the mouth for making heinous insinuations like that. Dan should have immediately clarified, but instead he doubled down and started demanding shit. Like a tough guy. So now we have the same old tired leftist bullshit of accuse them of the shit you’re actually doing.
