Now use a VPN or spoof your IP and try it again. Both very common. Obviously IPs are still important, it just doesn't mean as much as it used to given the common usage of VPNs, etc... UAI is better at identifying users for who they on a forum for example, than say an IP, tbh. Though it's not about location, more just who is who on the server end.
Say I was Adnil, the mods could look at IPs and say that we aren't the same person. But you would need more info than that to actually tell. If we're sharing the same IP for example, it would mean that we either live in the same neighborhood, are using the same VPN server at that moment or are the same person. There are no other options when simultaneous and given the number of addresses it's almost impossible for two people on the same forum to ever share the same IP outside of a VPN who don't live in the same neighborhood.
