I’m not a partisan. At least I try not to be. And I don’t vote, so I think that should count too. I’m also becoming increasingly anti trump the more I hear lately. As for labels, I think people are just throwing around words like communist and leftist which don’t apply, just like when the democrats call republicans Nazis or fascists or “Far right”. It just sounds dumb.

I 99% percent agree.
But for me personally I will use “far right” or “maga” to show that I am talking about the extreme right and not just “republicans”. Most republicans (and most democrats) are not the problem. It’s the extreme of both sides, because people like Floyd are unwilling to differentiate, that cause all the fuss

I agree communist gets thrown around a lot when it’s really not accurate. It’s 100% accurate to say Dan is a leftist. You can’t say democrat because you don’t know how he votes, but his own words put him firmly on the left.

I think with the country the way it is and given the actions of the democrats over the last 8 years, people are simply putting things in one of two camps. There’s really not much point in distinguishing between someone like Dan and say someone like Sharvell Dan or JDell. Only because their vote is going to result in the same thing regardless.

That’s tough because “leftist” implies varied ideologies that came about in the 1800’s with the French Revolution, then anarchism and communism. It may seem that way but it’s not true. I just think when it comes to elections, particularly recent elections, it doesn’t make a whole lot of difference. Either you’re going to vote for someone who I believe will hurt me or you’re not. That doesn’t mean I don’t think we actually have common ground. One of my best friends ( in the real world) is considerably left of you. He’s kinda anti capitalist, militantly union, thinks republicans are more evil than democrats. He also likes guns, plays bass ( I gave him his first lessons when we were kids) and is a lot like me in a lot of ways.

The Trump charges were totally ginned up in my opinion. Likely at least some of them were technically committed, but no one besides him would have gotten prosecuted, which makes the legal system illegitimate. And crimes we all know that are much worse are left untouched when it comes to the ruling cabal.

I guess the best way to describe a partisan is one who supports their "team" regardless who they are, what they do and what they stand for. Dan has already told us he voted for Trump in 2016, so it's hard to put him in that category.

None of that matters though. If he gets charged for something he actually did that is actually illegal, then he is guilty and deserves it.
