Where do you live? I mean you don't have to be specific. But where are you getting this perspective from? Is it your own experience?

it's been clear since the pandemic, look at which states are seeing more people leave vs coming each year.

during the pandemic, we had an influx of people from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio; most left, some stayed and they've been trying to change it to where they left ever since; some managed to get elected to the city council and many of the town meetings are contentious between the natives and the newcomers. I'm neither, but I side with the natives on nearly every issue; then we have the state DoT wanting to f*ck with our roads to "slow traffic flows".

The newcomers want more government regulation and control; we have dive bars with live music that have been here for decades being harassed by newcomers who built houses or moved into houses near these bars or the entertainment areas, then complain about the noise; the made the sandbars off limits to pedestrians because people don't understand how tides and currents work and they end up drowning (we still have people drowning here every year), now people that understand the tides and currents are not able to enjoy one of the nicest areas of the island (the sandbars during low tide)...

There is definitely a large dem demographic shitting up other states, just look at the voting trends. ID, AZ, TX, CO, NV were all strong Red 10 years ago, now turning blue.

I'm sure to some extent that's true. Democrats don’t want to live in the shitholes they’ve created. As is importing immigrants to shift demographics. But how many people are switching from republican to democrat? How much is election fraud, polling fraud, etc.?

I have little problem with immigrants. I live in an area with many and I genuinely appreciate the cultural diversity. I don’t blame them for wanting to come to America either. As a libertarian I have mixed feelings about border control. On one hand property rights are sacrosanct but on the other the state can’t legitimately own property and gate it. Regardless, from a practical perspective it is inexplicable that we have so many illegal immigrants, or even legal immigrants that are probably not going to add value to the country, and will instead be a net drain. I completely understand why many Americans are up in arms about this.

They just want to merge their taxes into the pockets of people living outside city limits. They always push city limits out further when they run out or residents to tax or grow as a city so unless you are beyond a clear line of demarcation like a low water crossing or river they just annex you.

California has been losing 100k+ residents to TX alone every year. 111k last year. It's too expensive there for most outsiders to make a destination plus there is a lot of red tape. I know Baltimore has been a high tax high crime dump for years. Not sure why people are leaving Birmingham AL but I know the infrastructure of Jackson MS is fully cooked so that's not surprising. I'm guessing the spot in FL is some high crime dump near Miami.

It's the opposite dude. The city of STL is broke and it needs the taxpayers of the county to bail them out. They also desperately want to be able to lower the violent crime rate ON PAPER, so they need the relatively violent crime free county to bolster those numbers.

When I joined here I couldn’t keep track of who was who so I made little notes for some people, and under CCN was “mainstream media guy” because he accused me of watching it all the time, using specifically those words. Geo doesn’t do that.
