Mod/ Admin Assistance

My email provider suddenly pulled the plug on my account, and I can't authenticate my "normal" Rig Talk profile (M@tt C) since I can't access my old emails any longer.

I created a new profile so I could try to get my email on my old profile changed.

Can I get an assist from a mod or admin on this?

I've had to temp-ban Matt.

He posted in the mod lobby so permissions are screwed-up somehow.

I've called admin too, so this should get sorted soon. Strange to say the least.

Unbanning Matt now. His accounts (this is a new one) will be merged.

It’s all good….miscommunication. We’re an international crew working out of different time zones… the mods have our own little section where we can discuss things and communicate with each other. When I moved his post onto there it actually looked like he made a post in the moderator only section. I was in a hurry so I didn’t post anything. I assumed my response in his thread seeking help was sufficient. It’s no big deal. It just looked like a new member basically had mod authorization… kinda funny actually….

Only admin has access to the moderators' log and that's where he found out what happened.

I've looked around for this elusive mod tool you speak of brother but I can't find it.

Yes, but I assumed you'd PM'd or emailed him... or something; I had no way of knowing what had happened.

Sans any communication about it, we all took it on face value - that the OP's post was somehow duplicated into the mod lobby. Even the time stamps on it were identical with, again AFAICT, no indication that anyone else was involved.

Anywho, it's pretty-funny overall. I just feel bad for poor ol' Matt. He must be wonderin' what sort of a shithole we're running here.

OK, OK, I'll tell Matt right now: It's not just any run-of-the-mill shithole mate; it's a mega shithole.
