MURDERATOR
Who did he piss off? Other than Donald? Just curious…I like him….

How can you know he wasn't asked to step down?
What makes you think it is a step down? But the answer to your questions is, I don't know. Being in DOGE may not end up being a thing. Time will tell. Being a Governor seems like a solid plan.

I think he was asked to step down because of the H1B comments. To me it is unlikely that he would unexpectedly quit and suddenly decide to go do something different just after a controversy like this without the controversy being a factor. But in the same way, I can't know for sure either.

You mean as reported by The New York Times and Politico?

Who knows man. I don't think I care either. My point was really more around how Musk can do whatever and it won't affect his future or wealth. If DOGE dies on the vine (which I hope it doesn't by the way), it would affect Vivek much much more. He seems like the type to be a bit more methodical and focused on his political career.

I didn't rely on NYtimes or politico reporting. I spent a few minutes googling "Vivek ohio governor" with a time constraint and didn't see any mention of it until Jan 17, about a month after the tweet controversy. And one article from the 15th that suggested he had been considering running for Vance's senate seat.

Not sure what you mean about DOGE and the impact on Vivek's future, but like you I don't really care either. I'm not a fan of either of them.

I don't rely on those 'news' sources either but they were the big outlets that supposedly had a source that said Trump was upset by Vivek's comments on H1B. Those sources could not be confirmed. I seriously doubt that as others who are much closer to Trump absolutely cannot stand H1B.

What I mean about DOGE is that it is not a true government agency and it seems Vivek would rather hold a real government position. Total guess.

I think a lot might have to do with the Axovant bullshit he was involved in coming back out, so as stated above, he's now running for Governor in Ohio.

Exactly. Dude is a scam artist. Probably why he gets along so well with DonOld.

Donnie was just at the WEF...
Yes, tearing them down.

Vivek and Tulsi were both like grads from some WEF kinda class/school. Gov Abbott in TX also would not publicly disavow the WEF when questioned repeatedly he just said "I'm for Texas and Texans first" as a canned response.

No, he just did his usual rambling bullshit.
