Lemme be Switzerland between you guys.
I'm with
@GuitarGuy08 that I'm not interested in having to add a dedicated tuner pedal to hog up pedalboard real estate as well as the possibility to tone suck. Looking at you, Boss TU-2.

I usually don't gig with 'pre-amp' pedals, only with a handful of pedals placed in my FX-loop. And tuner pedals shouldn't go there IMO.
So.... I also use clip-on tuners from time to time.... BUT...
here I'm with
@DanTravis62 , it *is* fuckin' ghey AF to leave the clip on your guitar's head DURING THE WHOLE FRIGGIN' GIG!
I use mine to tune during sound checks after the guitars have adjusted to the venue's temperature and
take it off again.
One work-around that tackles both issues, is when I play wireless, using my Shure GLXD16's built in tuner/mute.
My 2nd work around is to use a battery powered Boss TU-12 or a Korg DT-7, using a special 'Tuner' pre-output from the Engl Invader 100.
That way it's not in-line in the signal chain.
