Canada is already considering complying with American policy and the work week hasn't even started yet!

Most sane canadians, Mexicans, and Australians would rather be Americans at this point now. Soon people will hear the word "Canada" and think of a wilderness area within the borders of the US.They better.
Honestly I know you hate to hear it - we have a better system so no... When I need to see the doctor which is quite frequently because of skin cancers it is subsidised. So we can afford to go. It's still expensive and adds up but it's not like you have to take out a mortgage if you need to go to hospital. Honestly - the US is terrible for healthcare. It may as well be India. What's the good of having hospitals and doctors if you can't afford to go. On TGP there's a guy that just paid USD 40,000 for some kidney stones... and A-bone had to set up a go fund me. You just want state funded freebies. Once you get your US citizenship that's coming to an end.Honestly I know you hate to hear it - we have a better system so no... An heavy handedness here during COVID was actually done to protect the broader population because they actually cared. There was no conspiracy. Even if I don't agree with how they handled it in all circumstances.
Well our HC system is fucked. Controlled by insurance companies and drug companies. Which are owned by banks. But it's still better than all the countries with socialized medicine. You don't see Americans sneaking into Canada for routine treatments.Experiences vary.
I retired at 47 - have a nice big house - every modern convenience you could ever wish for. Great motorbikes that I can ride all year round... All the guitars and amps I could ever want until they come out my ears... Decent roads that I can have great bike rides. Beaches to walk on. Mountains. Ski Resorts if I want....Experiences vary.
Socialized healthcare works great as evidenced by British teeth.Well our HC system is fucked. Controlled by insurance companies and drug companies. Which are owned by banks. There are all classes in both countries.I retired at 47 - have a nice big house - every modern convenience you could ever wish for. Great motorbikes that I can ride all year round... What does America have that I don't have here.
Nothing at all.
We have good teeth here. It's not the UK.Socialized healthcare works great as evidenced by British teeth.
Places not located in the desert where this stupid stuff doesn't exist:What does America have that I don't have here.

Kentucky is cool. It's too close to Illinois for my liking, but then so is Missouri.Well actually America has one thing I would like... A community of thumbpickers that meet each month in KY for fellowship and a good time picking - that would be nice.
It's actually pretty flat socially here. We are known for being a classless society although people still judge I guess implicitly - like the classic line at a party "so... what do you do for a living". I managed to do all those things from working. I started with nothing. I got no inheritance and didn't win any lottery... I wasn't given anything to get there. There are all classes in both countries.

You'd fit right in....Well actually America has one thing I would like... A community of thumbpickers that meet each month in KY for fellowship and a good time picking - that would be nice.
When you're a thumbpicker it doesn't really matter. A Fender DRRI or HR Deville, four different sized Roland Cubes for practice is enough... and an acoustic amp... A small Bass Amp. What more do I need. Playing clean doesn't need some weird boutique thing. We have all of that and our guitars and amp choices are better.
What happens when the dixie goes bust, you covered? It's actually pretty flat socially here. Small house+big acreage>big house+small lotWe have all of that and our guitars and amp choices are better.
