I just got done sound checking this thing ..... it's a whole different circuit with the bass knob .... sounds friggin great !Wild! The Nobles ODR is spoken of just as much as many other giants like the Tube Screamer IME. I see a lot of country players with them on their boards but they are everywhere.
They can get wompy. Wayne's addition is definitely well needed.
We're all on the spectrum somewhere.Spectrum, though
It sounds fantastic going into my Fillmore 50 ....That circuit is great into a fender blackface style amp. Bet the bass trim makes it even better
It's a very cool OD ..... i think it's going to stay on my board for a bitWe're all on the spectrum somewhere.
I've been wanting this. Nobels are very cool but they need the Bass cut. I kind of hate Tubescreamers and Klons because of the mid-hump, they always 'sound like a pedal'. But the Nobels to me have a more natural/neutral tone, just too much bass sometimes.
sounds pretty dam fantastic boosting my 800/JEL and my Cali ....How do these do for boosting Marshall style amps for rock tones?
When I was a strat-marshall guy I found the bass control some makers added to their TS copies indispensable. The VS Jekyll and Hyde had a bass boost switch, it made all the difference with a strat.sounds pretty dam fantastic boosting my 800/JEL and my Cali ....
the added bass control makes this pedal ....
video proof .... or it never happened ....Shouldn’t it be brown, or at least tan?
I do love massaging out a big baby arm with no breaks and a perfect tail cone.
My perfectly shaped fire log maybe can sink that low but I can’t.video proof .... or it never happened ....
not sure on the exact frequency ....What frequency of bass does it cut, or boost?
If I stopped building ... designing .... and re-tolexing ..... I might actually pick up a guitar again for more than 45 minutes ....Make some cleeps mang, do it
I play humbuckers in all my guitars.... Seems like most strat guys and gals would like having that much bass in the original Nobels. It also seems like there are more pedals designed around single coils and Fender amps.not sure on the exact frequency ....
how it works though is ..... if you have the bass all the way up ...... that's what " Stock " would be .... so you're literally subtracting from the stock value as you turn it down
I didn't do any R & D on it ..... I just implemented the mod I found online into my schematic / PCB ..... and now I know why it's such a popular mod
