My son just tuned 18 . He constantly fucks up these guitars lol he took the 57 off the other and out it on a Jackson dinky . Lol I asked him why and he said it looks cool . He uses the custom for slide and open tunings . Msybe he thought that helps lol
He does not listen to me about this shit

Honestly I fully support just fucking with guitars and doing whatever to them because you want to or makes ya wanna play. Guitar forums really fucked up that “I have no clue what I’m doing” aspect for a lot of us, for the better but also a little bit of worse
