Snagged some old preamps!

I grabbed the Piranha literally like 7 months ago and it's been in the shipping box in a closet in my studio. Got the Prophesy II about 2 weeks ago. Man, these things still sound really good! Definitely need some tweaking, and the Prophesy really comes to life with the pre and post EQ's but wow! A lot of fun for sure. I am probably going to make some captures and profiles of them as they're certainly probably better served staying at home as opposed to being gigged.

Cool stuff! For those who might not know, the Prophesy is a digital modelling of the Egnater IE4. Bruce was telling me about how it drove the engineer insane trying to model all the tonestacks in the digital space haha. So all those voicings in there are basically the channels of the IE4. I believe it also had a majority of the Replifex FX built into it.

I did. I'll be unboxing it and setting it up today. I'm super pissed still. Shit communication around this. 2.5 months late with zero proactive communication, until me and another guy started asking on the FB group, then everything was being answered by some shit bird that doesn't even work at KSR trying to make excuses for lack of communication and poor follow-up.

I had a similar issue on a Juno 100w I'd ordered, I like Kyle but lead times and communication have gone down hill.
 
Rocktron was a great brand back in the 90s, they have fallen off the map pretty much.

An old rig I had after giving up on slaving four heads live.

Two friends of mine got decades of use from their Prophesy's. They ran tube power amps and a bunch of 4x12's. In 1999 these were the ultimate guitar gadgets. Probably still cool for effects. Like a 2U deluxe Intellfex.
