I hate For Whom the Bell Tollz

Do I need to hear it on the radio anymore? Nope. Is it a blast to play live? Yep. Unfortunately, I get to play it in both bands - one on guitar, one on bass.
 
There's a lot of metallica songs I hate more:

Ronnie
The thorn within
Frantic
Mama said
Better than you
Unforgiven 2 & 3
Invisible kid
Escape

Most of reload and a big portion of load is just filler material. I need no explanation for the St. Anger songs. There are some songs on the Loads that are killer though, like "the house jack built" and "outlaw torn".

Agree 100%, the lyrics and vocal performance are absolutely top tier, and everything else plays the perfect supporting cast for them. That’s Hetfield at his best.

Right? I love the timing and riffing on it. I’d listen to those over much of the later Van Halen that doesn’t rock as hard as the earlier stuff.

Yes! I only really like a few VH songs though, so I'll refrain from going further lol
 
I can't stand Staind. I don't like anything they do.

I'm a Metallica fanatic and still barely get thru the Load album. I can do about three songs on there.
 
FWTBT is a classic. Absolutely love it. Master of Puppets and Orion. My 3 fave Metallica songs.

Master of puppets is best metal album start to finish period.
