What if there was a Rigtalk album

I'm in a discord that used to play a game called 'round robin', and we'd form a "band" where each person gets a part, vocals, bass, guitar, drums, etc... and we'd write a piece and the next person would build off it. Generally the person doing vocals would write the melody and then we'd all write around that, and put something (usually pretty cool) together.

I'm more in the synth metal club, but just seems like if we did a poll on genre's for a RT album, I think those 2 would win. But who knows, might be an interesting poll.

Have done the poll.
OFR, Marshall tied with Mesa, and spandex under camo shorts.
Pretty sure between Charvel superstrats and Explorers; Jacksons won.

Years ago, we did some songs where everyone added a small solo and then one member combined everything. I don't remember if we finished it.

Yea if i bought equipment and had someone come show me and explain it would help. Watching youtube just isnt the same as having someone explaining in person.

The documentation for many of these DAWs isn't the best; a few tutorials with directions, steps, options, etc. would go a long way. I've been using Ableton Live Suite for years; I spend time and learn a lot, get stuck or whatever, then stop using it, and forget nearly everything I learned...rinse and repeat, for years

Video tutorials are slow and don't help me that much; I grew up learning by reading; most gear manuals suck (looking at you Roland / Boss), and usually only contain basics; no examples, no end to end process with step-by-step instructions etc.

One of my retirement plans is to spend more time deep learning my DAW, and my more complex keyboards and modelers much better

I foresee infighting over royalties, choosing the single, and how long we wait to hear back from Bob Rock before the project is inevitably shelved.
I guess i would never think of anything like that. Number one, there are monster players on here, so mine would never be single. And i wouldnt give a shit about the money

I did a few colabs back in the HCAF days that were a lot of fun.

Have been working on this one the past few nights and believe that this may very well be the most RT song ever! Off to birthday breakfast and church, have a great Easter y'all! More to come!
Thanks @griff10672 ❤️😘

I'll play anything or collaborate with anyone who wants to :dunno:

I've done mostly stuff with lisa and darren on the RT that turned out awesome, but also Nashville and some others

I can program drums, play bass, play keyboards, mix stuff, master stuff, whatever, as well as playing rhythm or lead guitar.

If any of you guys wanna do something just let me know, I'll do whatever. I can also help with DAW issues if any of you guys having trouble have an emergency, just message me and i can try to help or demystify anything

Cool idea, but by the looks of things theres a bit of clarity needed...like would it be a big jam, or individual tunes? Also, are we focussing on certain genres or what?
