Yep I'll be getting an orange one, maybe a purple too. Been watching these since they were announced, don't have to spend $6k+ on a Gibson one. I read they may not stay as GC/MF exclusives but idk. Hearing good things about them.

Just a bit of advice, order it from Musicians friend, it will save you about $80(credit cash). My brother has the Orange one, it is killer looking also.

Troglys does an in depth review...... these look amazing......just wow and given the quality...... those flame tops look better than ever ^_^

Jeez...... total nose bleed........

I'd just buy a used ebony board Studio

Same, I'm a nitro finish guy, but i've played a bunch of the newer epiphone stuff and they've massively upped their game.

I'm guessing the suits at gibson finally got pissed that LTD was taking such a large piece of that epi market share; to anyone that digs the LTD ECs, the newer epiphone stuff is going to be right up your alley I had one of the prophecies and i would have killed to have something like that when I started as a youngster.

If you'd prefer a gibbuns, you can still find a studio for a decent price but it takes a lot more work now. The LTD/epi's are a decent choice for guys just getting into singlecuts, strat guys, etc that don't feel comfortable dropping the big cash on one.

I sold the prophecy and spent a bit more to get a gibson lp classic for my "beater singlecut live guitar," but I totally understand the place in the market the widow has for people who want it to be more "gibsony" but aren't looking to go there money wise

@NowYou'rePlayingWithPower didnt you used to have one of the Goth LP Studios? How has that finish aged over time?
