I like these a lot, but I can't help thinking that they would look even cooler with color matched binding and inlays.

I’ve checked these out at GC around ATL and Tampa. Neck shape is fine, not offensive like the 60’s slim taper. Guitars look amazing. I talked to my Sweetwater rep and he said they were getting a green one. Not indigo like GC, green. I placed a pre-order through them a couple of weeks ago. Today he called me saying they can’t figure out how to get them into the US financially given the current economic situation and they’ve canceled all pre-orders.

Believe it may have been the first Goth model produced and likely the only 1275. This is the Head Vampire Or at least that's my guess as I've never seen an older serial on a Goth and have probably seen them all Reverb seems to put Goth models under 98-03, but 99% sure they were only produced 99-02. The serial on the 1275 is from spring of 98 and was in one of the catalogs from that year, but whenever this one pops up people refer to it as a 2002. Just one of those things I guess where if it's repeated enough times on the internet it becomes fact.

They also made a 135, 335, and a few Thunderbirds in that style (not the epiphones or Nikki Sixx version, but with the moon and crescent. Super rare, would guess less than 50). But the rarest of them all was...

Mine had one of the best necks ever…. Super fast… I have spoken to other people who said that their version had a chunky neck… plus the pups ripped in it as well. I have regretted getting rid of that almost as much as my old lp deluxe and 60’s 355 custom stereo….

496R 500T set? I love those. Total "break out a can of whoopass" tone. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamen!

The 335 is really the one I'm really after anymore.
Something about it all comes together
Crazy all of these used to be found under $1k, closer to $500 for the most part.
But we all know what happened there.
I remember seeing the 1275 come up for around 5 or 6k and thought they were out of there mind because at the time you could have two or more of all of the others combined.

They're very nice, and sound great. I played the indigo at GC and it's sweet.

I'm not sure if the new finishes are just right or too much. As much as I like indigo, the orange one looks better to me for some reason. My local GC didn't have that one. I wanted to see it in person.

My local GC has 3 of them, and 2 of them are super legit with one being a touch brighter tonally. TBH I'm having a hard time not buying both..
