Great deal but honestly given nvm the deal......

These Kramers really are something.......

And well damn the deals or not they really have a place on a stage. As much as I love my Charvels but the Kramers are just so good and have their own vibe and belong too especially something like The 84 Original......

Just something about it/them......... and the Kramer thing/vibe ^_^

Right on I get......

I also played that same Charvel at a deal from Franking Guitar Works at GC the other day in HSS maple Aqua Flake...... and played my fair share of EVH and Jackson guitars........

And yeah the Aqua Marine HSS Maple San Dimas Charvel was sick and worth every penny and I would highly recommend.......

But still If you don't have a Kramer...... and already have a Charvel or whatever else or just looking for a sick axe in general........

I mean I have to say after playing this one all night long it's equally as sick as any of my Charvels or that Aqua Marine and well....... Great deals but in general still believe the Kramers are so worth it especially after playing this 84 Kramer........ I mean it's just hard to say one is better than the other or gopher one vs the other for xyz reason..... they are both sick IMO and well yeah couldn't live without a Charvel......

And now...... couldn't live without a Kramer..... they are just sick ^_^

Up all night with this one...... man...... much much better than I expected for so many reasons. The neck isn't exactly like the one on the Pacer but compared this one is a bit newer than the ones I played that were mid to late 2010 builds.

But yeah not exactly like the 83 profile on a Pacer but not far off and super comfy and surprised how it has a lot of that same vibe you'd get from that 83 profile.

It's a 2021, hasn't been outside of the box until now and as good as the quality was a while ago the newer ones are nicer and that much better with pretty decent and thin paint, not as thin as on a Charvel but still damn thin and pretty close. Contours are solid and better than the 2010 builds too, neck feels better overall where it counts. But yeah that neck is amazing and the body Contours and carves are honestly as nice as my San Dimas. Body isn't as thick on these as on Fenders/Charvels depth wise and slightly thinner....... Super resonate and acoustic....... butter like neck........

As good as these were just 7-10 years ago...... they are even way better now and the QC and build shows especially with the neck profile, build and those contours and curves/carves it really is as good as the Charvel QC there. The wood on these feel fantastic too and that neck is nothing special looking but it feels like a million bucks. Poor thing was never even played before or opened.....still breaking it in.....

Great feeling body, neck, build providing amazing play and that's all for now....... haven't even plugged it in really because it was late night but yeah

The newer Pacer Carrera is listed as using a "Slim" profile in 14 inch radius same as the "Slim" profile on the Pacer Vintage in 12 inch radius........ and yeah those necks were pretty dope.

My best guitar buddy growing up had one of the second run of the Barettas, candy apple red, identical to the one Sammy plays in the Live Without a Net video. IIRC, that was something like $900. In 1986 that was some serious money for a guitar.

It's amazing how much guitar you get for the money these days vs. back then.

A regular Kramer Pacer with 2 humbuckers and a floyd rose, $450 in 1982.

That still wasn't real cheap back then, but Kramer was small time in 1982. They had really taken off by 1986 and there was a waitlist to get a Baretta. I grew up in NJ, so I suppose it was a little easier for us. But you had to go down to your local mom and pop music store and place and order with them and then wait a few mos. Hell, even by the time I could afford just a new Kramer Focus, I had to order it from the local store and wait almost two mos.

That was some real bucks back then but you got a real quality guitar.

My Pacer was purchased from Sam Ash on Route 4 Paramus NJ. At the time, they had plenty of them. I should have bought 2.

I used to go to Manny's and Sam Ash on 48th St. back in the day. They had everything you could ever want. But that wasn't always the case in the small stores in the burbs. I got to tour the Kramer factory just as the 5150 tour was starting. Oh man, what a candy store that place was.

Back in the 80's Sam Ash and Victors House of Music, both in Paramus, had a pretty good selection.

I did have to go into NYC to try an SLO 100. I don't remember whether it was ash or Manny's but I didn't like NYC then and I don't like it now.

I really think they should release more Metallic colors in the 84 series and Flame Top models too...... maybe make an HS version of an 84 for the 84 model..... keep it simple at 12 radius like these ones or 12.6 even..... What would be cool is if Duncan developed a JB or 59 Jr...... with an SSL-1 or 6 attached to it ....... so two single coil sized pups attached to one another, one being a bucker already and the other being a single coil. It would be like two pickups in the size of a bucker and essentially a single coil sized bucker and a single coil pup in one.

So it would be like a fullfized bucker with a mini bucker and single coil in a pup...... this way you can get a bucker tone in position one, position two would be both and position three would be the single coil neck position...... but it would all come from a bridge pup....... it could also allow for one to split the JB/59 JR for a single coil tone by itself or combine with with the single coil attached to it. This would provide less magnetic pull than HSS or HH or HSH configurations provide more flexibility and control over tone for single pup guitars like the 84 and others.

Aside from that even nicer IMO would be like a Hybrid 84 Body using a three piece body with Maple for the middle piece and Alder for the horns/wings of the guitar. This way you get the essential tonal quality of Maple given its density/sustain and some balance and lighter wood with the horns/wings being made of alder to balance the weight and tone.
