Got this a budget rig to start playing again , have to say I’m impressed all things considered. H&K warp T on a 80s American made Randall 4x12 with jags in it . TON of low end can chug in spades and is also LOUD af but super low noise floor . Surprised these aren’t talked about more round here !

how long were you dormant? I've gone through such ups and downs with guitar. Played from 16-18, then went to school and didn't pick it up again until I was 35. Then went through a bitter divorce at 45, and had my gear in litigation for years. Hated guitar, lol. Recently picked it back up a couple years ago. Wish I had never put it down, but life has it's ups and downs.

Would be interested to hear this thing if you can post clips. My buddy has an RGT100 halfstack he's owned since we were kids. I love that thing, but they are rarer than hens teeth.

edit: hmm, TMI

It’s been almost a year man ! But same kinda of trajectory haha . I’ll try record some in the room stuff for the $ if you can find one highly recommend ! Also was looking at the rg300”s haha

I had the warp X at one point . Damn it looked cool af . It sounded decent . Fun amps

I've played a warp X but never a warp T, very cool!!

It's the exact same amp, just a facelift and name change.

Interesting! I actually think the warp x is underrated.

It was obviously marketed as a nu-metal amp (SUCK THE DICK DRINK THE PISS) but I thought it sounded cool.

Yeah, H&K definitely f-ed up the marketing on that one. Kinda like the ENGL Retro Tube. Probably would have been more popular if the marketing was better.

I had a Warp T/X on my wishlist for a time, but it fell off after a while. I wouldn't turn my nose up at one for the right price. Though most seem to list at 1K or more when they come up. For my personal taste there's better options at that price point.

For sure. There was a time though, where you could grab them stupid cheap on the guitar center used thingy.

For the money there's just way better options. For that kinda dosh you could grab a laney GH or something AND a mexican strat, lol

I picked it up on flea bag for about 300$ after new tubes and some repairs but in about 400$ so into it about 700 . It’s def an interesting amp but been having a lot of fun with it !
