Not a band I am super into but hoping for his recovery. Sad any human has to deal with that.

Crowds always loved heavier covers of 3 doors down songs when we did them. They’re a staple band in the bar gigging scene and I’ve spent a lot of my life listening to them and playing their songs. They’re underrated for how well their songs are written. It’s sad he’s looking at less than a 10% chance of survival in 5 years just based on statistics alone - but that isn’t 0%. Im hoping he seriously pulls through.

Really enjoyed their debut album as a kid. Sad news and it looks like it has spread to his lung. He seems to have a pretty optimistic outlook which helps tremendously.

Hoping for the best for him as he is highly respected in the industry

I guess you could say that cancer is his kryptonite.

That really, really sucks to hear. Hoping all the best for him during this battle.

Stage 4 Kidney Cancer and it’s in one of his lungs. I hope he’s able to recover. Cancer sucks.

Canceled the 2025 summer tour of course as they should. I hope he’s able to get immediate help and treatment.
I was diagnosed with stage four but they caught it before it metastasized and went anywhere. Took out a bunch of lymph nodes though. Usually kidney is pretty treatable if caught soon enough. Worst case scenario you lose one. Maybe not worst case but you get my point. Cancer sucks…fuck it. I’m convinced God blessed me with m.s. because if it wasn’t for that they wouldn’t have found my cancer.

Just a PSA all of you. In November of 2023, I went to the doctor for back pain. They sent me to have an MRI on my back and that MRI also showed that I had a tumor in my left Kidney. Turn out to be Cancer. In January of 2024 I had my left Kidney removed. The back doctor told me that they find 10-12 of these a year. This type of cancer is Asymptomatic and by the time you realize you have it, it has metastasized to other areas of the body and is much harder to get control of. Moral of the story is if you have back pain get checked. If they recommend and MRI do it. Could save your life. In my case the tumor was too big to excise so they took the whole kidney - was stage 2 and agressive.

Cancer can be very Insidious. As we get older, any and every little pain COULD be cancer. Definitely get yourself checked out, even if it seems no big deal.
Best wishes to him; that band has done a TON of USO shows for the military over the years.
F Cancer.
