Oh WOW. Nostalgia comes rushing back as my yo-yo addiciton years all of a sudden come to the forefront.
I mowed my parent's pretty good size lawn a good few times to put together the cash for that Duncan Jewel. The butterfly was a bit easier to operate and to get sleeping and walking the dog with less headaches, but it didn't have jewels on it! I still wish I had one of those jewels. I remember when the smother's brothers yo-yo came out and dude's started cork sniffing and complaining about the duncans, lol. I had one but it wasn't as easy to operate as the butterfly. My dad coul do some cool tricks so he taught us. The old days!Oh WOW. Nostalgia comes rushing back as my yo-yo addiciton years all of a sudden come to the forefront.
because blind tests are the shit!!!IDK why I mention that he is legally blind, but he is, and I do all of his guitar work for him for free.
Right on! 100% Hahaha this made my morning.because blind tests are the shit!!!
Acquired my first Strat about a yr ago and have played with a few pickups since. Duncan ’78 is fantastic in the guitar so it’s a keeper. Grabbed another cheap pickguard & installed Dim Tone Zone..not for me.Everyone’s ears are different. I’ve used a lot of Dimarzio’s and they all have a fat low end and tons of cocked wah mids. Good for “fixing” a bad sounding guitar, but nowhere near the clarity of Duncan’s IMO.
My favorite Dimarzio is the Norton (not Air Norton) but it only worked in one particular superstrat that I no longer have.
