Just saw this posted for $1950 shipped with a case. His pricing is insane.

I am into this wild top and dig the body shape.

If I had any extra cash, this thing would so be gone....

That top almost has a JAMES TYLER GUITAR look to it. Love that multipiece neck, I bet that sucker is stable.
The Lacello I have feels like a work of art. To be all hand built by one guy, incredibly comfortable, and be reasonably priced on top of it? He's a super cool guy to work with as well.

it looks like a countertop out of a Lowes kitchen and bath section ......

love the back though

Eh. The top looks like cork. I’m not a fan of the earthy natural look. I tend to prefer my guitars look like auto paint finishes.

Is that bookmatched?! That looks gnarly, though I don't typically love burl Gs.

how could you ruin such a beautiful piece of wood???
:p
(not too fond of that shape and the back doesn't match at all)

Never heard of the builder, but I like burls, with all the gnarly pits and holes - especially if they're strategically stained/painted like on a Mayones. Not a fan of the shape, but to each his own. That's actually a lot cheaper than a Mayones would be and has BKPs to boot. Looks like a Skervesen headstock.

Oh he can build all sorts of stuff. Really great guy to work with and is out of Canada. I have what essentially is a Mayones Duvell with a Caparison neck carve. Yes, I got my guitar for an insane deal and it is loaded with BKP Silos and Hipshot hardware, etc. He does this for the love of the craft and has crazy reasonable rates. Even if you chose each piece of wood step for step, the whole build is only like around $2600 or something?

it's more the colors than the wood grain .... the grain is bad ass ..... it's the colors ... looks like granite
Ah that is true. This one is just natural it seems but I could see it being wild in red or green or something

Attached pics of my Lacello. It originally was natural and I worked with him to repaint it to my custom color choice/specs. I did not care about recessing the back plate, as I always leave them off of my guitars lol

the guitar itself looks killer ..... I'd play it !

I like the red and purplish stains when it comes to the burl type tops .....

How funny is that?! Yeah it was natural, and it was beautiful that color but I wanted something different.. Due to certain circumstances when I was working on a build with him, I was offered this instrument, which was completely natural. I was like, let's change that up a bit. He repainted and worked with it like 3 times to get exactly what i wanted. I got the whole build with a nice hardshell case shipped to my door for $1650. I would have been less if I had left it natural, but he did not upcharge much for all of the extra work.
