No no....I'll leave you to figure it out.
Okay well tell that to OP too then........ ...... let's call these Octals then or whatever instead of SS tubes then...... who gives a fuck.
Complain about the title then too...... since it's so misleading or whatever BS your trying to say here.
Send a letter to folks who sell Metal HeatSinks as substitutes for glass vacuum tubes and go be annoying to them..... send a letter to Jet City and tell them the same thing about their ceramic "SS tubes" they made a while back.......Jeezus.
Otherwise piss off and I don't know what to tell you. What the hell should we call these things other than SS tubes then? What do you and the rest of the tan pants crowd prefer they be called?.
Just tell us what you and the tan pants people want everyone to call these things and stop being lame/annoying and just chill......
Right on so just because it isn't glass doesn't mean it's SS and it's just a metal vacuum tube......You're easily the most tan pants member on this forum by a very large margin Mr. 6V6. You're a living meme on this forum. Don't get me wrong you're a staple here on RT, but you need to start listening to people who know what they're talking about instead of arguing with everyone with your non existent "IMO and IME" and you might start actually learning things. Look at your first post in this thread. That is not a solid state device. In fact, solid state devices didn't exist when that was made. Your digital snoopy watch isn't an analog wind up watch just because it's a watch and nobody is arguing against calling the device in the OP a solid state tube. You don't simply take a glass vacuum tube and swap the glass for a heatsink and call it solid state. It's what's inside and how it operates that makes the difference, not what's outside. Just like your snoopy watch.
Right on so just because it isn't glass doesn't mean it's SS and it's just a metal vacuum tube......
Okay that seems simple enough.
Why not just say that then...... you know like in a simple way or something.... idk.
Anyways.
Yeah honestly haven't had coffee much all day but yeah.......Pretty sure it was stated around 3-5 times on the first page.
I really hope you're just stoned and not trolling.

The Urn to hold the 'Tan Pants' ashes left over from this thread?I like the Urn look
Okay Tan Pants well deserved hereThe Urn to hold the 'Tan Pants' ashes left over from this thread?
Nope I’m good bro…..Interesting to see another one of these pop up. I have a high-voltage lab power supply that runs off tubes, and before it was obsoleted the manufacturer sold some solid state devices with the right form factor to replace the actual tubes. @JackBootedThug it's 500V @ 400mA if you're feeling froggy...
In guitar amps we typically only see two types of tubes, rectifiers and voltage amplifiers. We’ve had SS rectifier ‘plugs’ for many years.Interesting to see another one of these pop up. Bollywood squares…immigrant edition
I think that I still have some of the Jet City SS pre's. Have not used them in years but don't remember not liking them.
So, how about those Raiders? You think they're going to win the Stanley Cup this year?
