Getting ready to install a dtuna on my Jackson v now…..I’m hooked…lol

Well that dtuna was an abject failure…. But the distortion and the yjm just took a fine import guitar to the next level… sounds unbelievable now. I’m not a fender guy at all but I tell you what… this is a great freaking guitar. The trade I made for the pair… it was worth it just for this one. Been forever since I’ve played a Duncan distortion and I don’t know if it’s the mahogany body or what but it’s raunchy…. And these yjm’s from Duncan are legit as well. Very pleasantly surprised by this upgrade.

Did I tell you about that time I got in the shine and ate a bunch of shrooms? I met this beautiful woman and we literally danced all night…. Just amazing… I woke up the next morning behind a dollar store with a mannequin…. Thank Goodness they didn’t have cameras back then because I got that num num that night multiple times….

The D-tuna is a gimmick like most Ed's products. Ive tried it a couple times with dismal results unless your low E is .038 or smaller.

yeah ...... the idea is great ...... but I've heard they work for shit .... anyone make a better alternative that works ??

I have been upgrading/changing pickups and electronics in a bunch of a friend's guitars and slowly working my way through each one of my own, getting them all spec'd to my liking.

Honestly, I love it.

Had no idea I would enjoy it to this degree.

I am thinking of maybe starting my own little side business here offering guitar wiring upgrades/repair.

I have a friend who owns a guitar shop though and does that stuff, so I would speak with him about all that, don't want to step on any toes.
