How to make the 3ch Dual Recto sound brutal

So I came across an old video of mine and I thought I would share it cause it sounds brutal. I am using a Bad Monkey as a clean boost + my all time favorite weapon the Aphex 101 Exciter

sure but in my experience the 3ch ones are too fizzy, stiffer, looser and somehow lack balls compared to the older and MW ones. Same goes with the triple ones.

Never played a Triple but I too am a big fan of the Bad Monkeys. They are more transparent than the OG TS. Can I assume you are on Red/Silicone/Bold and your Loop is patched for loop master? That's what I'm doing.

Cannibal Corpse doesn't have problems getting a brutal tone outta their 3 channel recs. Maybe they are using the early revisions of the amp though?? 3 channel revision C's supposedly sound killer.

Try to find an early 2000's one, like a rev C. They sound great like the old 2 channels.

I have a 3-channel and a Multi-Watt and they don't really sound much different.

Nice! Of all the Rectos that I've had the best one gotta be the Rev D. The Tremoverb was sweet as well!

I just ordered an Aphex 104 exciter. As many recto clips as I’ve heard I know damn well how much that unit is doing the heavy lifting here to clean things up. I’m still highly skeptical but it’s cheap enough that it’s worth a try.

I love it man... With the right settings it can make all amps sound bigger and meaner

Yep, stumbled upon one for cheap. Bought it with the intentions of flipping but after firing it up I was shocked. After some research turns out it was a first revision C board.
