Proof the Earth is round

What you are actually suggesting is that I cannot maintain a course of 180 degrees, south, and wind up back at the same spot.

That's only because the South Pole and North Pole are extremely difficult to cross over without dying.

That's why the flat earth types suggest an ice wall.

How does that work with global warming?

And what would happen if you traveled to this wall and then followed it unimpeded on a super boat with unlimited food and power?

According to google:

magnetic north and south do not follow the earth's geographic axis The geographic North and South poles are defined as the points where the Earth's axis of rotation intersects the surface. These points are fixed and do not move.
  • Magnetic Poles: The magnetic North and South poles are the locations where the Earth's magnetic field lines are vertical. These poles are constantly moving or drifting due to changes in the Earth's molten outer core.
Hey!!!! :powpow::uzi::salute::rawk::jerkit::hys::emofag::codeak::poke::doh:

Since you admit you rely on Google for you knowledge - why don't you ask it "IS THE EARTH AN OBLATE SPHEROID"?

That will settle this thread once and for all!!!!!

That illustration does t show anyplace getting 24 hour night.
Yes and less that 50% of the earth's surface is illuminated at any one time and that is testable with a video conference to people at various points and ask them is it dark and plot the data points on a map.

Centrifugal force is fake dude.
What has that got to do with google or my comment - or is that a joke that went over my head.

[EDIT] ok I get it now I think... but the Earth is so close to a sphere if it was shrunk to the size of a basketball it'd be smoother and rounder than a real one. 0.4mm variance between the circumference around the poles compared to the equatorial circumference.

I am understanding that it took the early explorers 3 or 4 years to go all the way around antartica and was estimated at about 40 or 50k miles but I need to find a source for that.

Lol, I was using google to correct a ball earther on mistaken ball earth theories so in that instance google is actually useful because it parses search results to make it difficult to find flat earth stuff. Not that you'd noticed.

0.3. 43 kilometers difference.

It’s useful since you agreed with it. 😂😂

Where did I agree with it? I literally copy pasted it to show that no, magnetic north and south do not follow the axis in the ball earth model.
You thought that if I could use the Vatican observatory then you could use Google.

Accept that you have sinned and gone to the dark side.

Theoretically I understand what you are saying, but that experiment cannot be demonstrated so it's thought form vs thought form.
Thank God we're given the powers of logic and deduction then.

Otherwise, we'd have to spend every minute of every day conducting real-world, fully-funded scientific experiments just to get by.

Hopefully you get the point.

What you are actually suggesting is that I cannot maintain a course of 180 degrees, south, and wind up back at the same spot. That's the question when it comes to disc earth.
Hallelujah.

No one is forcing you to respond.
But you keep quoting me after I say I'm done bro'... then address me in your replies.

It'd have been rude of me not to respond IMHO; I don't roll that way. :dunno:

Sort of, except magnetic south is in the southern ocean, not at the bottom of the globe so I can still track a southerly course until I am going north again in all reality even on a disc shape.

But you keep quoting me after I say I'm done bro'... then address me in your replies.
You were offering rebuttals.

It'd have been rude of me not to respond. IMHO
Rudeness on globe earth and on flat earth are two different things mate.

So what would happen if they actually crossed Antarctica on foot? In a straight line mind you.
