You know by now I was arguing the concept.

Does a soccer ball have magnetic south? Geez man.

It seems at least you agree with the concept. That's all that's required when extrapolating a shape.

If you are willing to look past "Prof. Dave" and his acerbic style, there's a really good case study on how the flat earth community operates. Once you get into the 30-45min mark you'll see the ridiculous extent the true believers will go to in order to discredit any challenge to their deeply held emotional views. But, judge on your own accord.

Popping in for a quick note: It kinda does care, in that only certain shapes are allowed. The shape of the magnetic field is determined by the geometry of the currents creating it and any time-varying electric fields inducing it. Picking where you want north and south to be is to an extent picking what shape you want your magnetic field to be, and that shape could be non-trivial to impossible depending on what exactly you want.
 
I dunno why anyone is still entertaining these two dumbest fucks on the globe earth. They actually refuse to accept basic easy to understand facts, hence they cannot be reasoned with. They are only good for making fun of and toying with. Literally, anything else is a waste of time.
