Jimmy Page is a known admirer of Metallica's "St. Anger" album. Producer Bob Rock confirmed on a podcast that Page told him he "loved" the album. Guitar World reported that Page and Jack White both expressed appreciation for the album, which is often criticized by fans and critics for its production and lack of guitar solos.

Bob Rock, the producer of "St. Anger," shared that Jimmy Page, a guitarist he greatly respects, specifically complimented the album. According to Rock, Page told him, "By the way, I loved 'St. Anger.' It's a great album." Rock also mentioned that Jack White, another prominent guitarist, also expressed his fondness for the album, particularly at a screening of the documentary "It Might Get Loud," which featured both Page and White.

Despite the generally negative reception of "St. Anger" among many Metallica fans, Rock stated that Page's and White's positive feedback made him feel "okay" about the album's legacy.

Fucking love it! More scooped and ballsy - Say what you want but this song is badass...

Badass man! Sounds nice and heavy.

Can you do a second clip and take the "ping" out of that snare? 🤣

i did try, but without individual tracks theres not a whole lot i could do. honestly though, its still way loud and needs help but i dont hate it in my clip as much as the original, the wobbly cymbals that are clipping or whatever is going on are horrible.

nice work!
I do like the original guitar sound- big phat diezel lo-mids
