Am I the only one that can't play any full songs and basically only plays leads over backing tracks or in a band situation?

I didn't know we had a support group! I'm finally just in the last few years to the point where I can play full songs on stage with people, but most of my life was just tiny parts on albums or learning the fun part of a song and not the rest

I used to know some full songs, but I've never been interested in learning other people's music at that level. I've learned a lot of parts of songs though, and stolen/modified them to make my own riffs/melodies.

I quit gigging in 2016, we had like 3 hours of various covers. I have been terribly lazy since then. I haven't learned a full song, only riffs or parts from a tune.
