Turd Guitar is still trying to be relevant but he just can't deal with the fact that his lover BetaMaleChet67 left him. COLD TURKEY! :ROFLMAO:

I live in the country dude. My internet is fast as fuck. I already knew what you were gonna say before you even typed it. :giggle:
There are plenty of people in the US I know that have crap internet in the country. Remember I have a lot of friends in TN and KY. I am aware you can use starlink if you want. Even people here can do that at about twice the normal cost of the internet.

No Starlink for me.

So Australia has high speed internet out in the bush ? Aboriginals that still live in trees or whatever have internet ? Because your "Outback" isn't all that different than some rural places in KY or TN or West Virginia, or wherever.

All your people are crammed up in about 3 cities.

Mostly they do provide it out in the Bush. There's only some that have to resort to satellite.

Im still burning oil for heat and hot water the way god intended it
You New Englanders buy a shit ton of waste oil from here I can tell you that. I'm surprised you aren't all on NG by now. You are definitely major producers of it.

The beauty of which when the grid goes down you still have heat and hot water until you are out of oil. I'd really like a woodburning kitchen stove and gas range at my next place.

We have gas to the street - at least where I live.

Only old people have a problem with gas.
You're near a major city no ?

There are gas mains not too terribly far from here. About 5 miles in either direction on the highway. Not enough of us out here in the ether to entice them to run them down here though.

Some neighborhoods by me have gas available at the street, but most do not. I go through an absurd amount of oil at work, I probably order 30k gallons a week during peak heating season.

Oil burners are just so easy to work with too. Less safety measures to get in the way lol. A burner would have to be pretty fucked for me to not be able to keep it running through the night

Being hooked up to gas sucks. Go gig until three a.m and then come home and the fire/police are blocking your road "sorry gas main break you can't go to your home" and you're forced to get a hotel room and get reimbursed later. Big no thanks on being hooked up to grid gas.
