I had that same guitar as my first "real" guitar! Loved those necks. Freshman year at Ohio State my roommate fell off of a chair and broke the neck. Ordered a replacement neck through the local music store at a time when I didn't know about fret sizes, nut width, and neck thickness. Ruined the guitar for me.
