Born Again is a killer album. The production is horrible. I have an original vinyl copy i bought when it first came out and it sounds so bad. They need to remaster it.

One of my favorite BS albums. Gillan scorched the earth on that album.

What they really need to do is remix it. But if they make it too “good” it will loose the cool doomy heaviness it has. As long as they always leave the original available to have, they should go for it.

Iommi recently found the original master tapes and is planning on doing a full remix at some point .. might not be soon though

There’s a few iffy tracks but I enjoyed it

Agree 100%. If they pretty it up too much it could lose some of that eerie, off sounding charm that it has.
As crappy as that production is, it really lends to the dark atmosphere.
It’s like Sabbath with a harsh black metal production. Lol
