I just sold one of my guitars today. Warmoth superstrat. I

have had it for about 20 years. I just have too many guitars for the amount that I am playing lately. Hopefully will get back into the groove in fall and winter....
 
I look at it as if you can afford it, have room and it makes you happy, then why not. Even though you sold it, I think the new owner will enjoy it the same way you did for all those years

Yeah he seemed like a good guy and could rip. It's in a good home now I think.

4 guitars is too many anyhow. I only have 3 plus an acoustic myself so welcome to club sanity.

I've decided to take the plunge to downsize drastically in the next year. I'll be 60 in 2026 and don't want to leave a ton of stuff for my wife or kids to unload if something took my life unexpectedly...

Yeah and you'll probably be able to get more money from them now than your kids would just trying to get rid of stuff they don't really know about when you pass away so it makes sense to be on top of it. I'm trying to sell a 250lbs anvil for my old man right now just so I won't have to deal with it later...
