Deciding on strat pickups

Wait, really? Last I read on some other forums, lots of folks paying for pickups and never getting them or even a reply to inquiring emails. Jeez...I guess this explains it.

He died suddenly and unexpectedly in March. I believe he was 43. Not sure what the cause was. May have been part of the reason for some of those unfulfilled orders but the site now says no longer taking orders. He may have been the only one with access to the website account, I dunno. What I do know is his Epic 56's that he had previously ceased production on, were killer pickups. I had a reverse wound set and they were my favorite set.

You may want to look into the latest gen Fender Vintage Noiseless.

I have a Ultra II Stratocaster and they sound amazing clean or distorted.

And those Duncan Quarter Pound pickups. They're stock on the Ritchie Blackmore Strat... damn, those great.

Just checked out his youtube - that guy plays great and that is SUCH a killer tone - wonder what the hell he is using in that clip. This may have sold me on these pickups for a build I am working on

I ended up finding a deal on a Lollar dirty blonde set so will give them a go when they arrive. If i dont like them then i will search again. But i love Lollars in my teles so I bet i will love these strat pups
