I really did not want to spend that much money, but it’s pretty special
It’s got a really killer mahogany neck, which normally is not my bag. It’s one of the elliptical shapes.
I have almost the identical guitar with a roasted maple neck and that’s still preferable, but this thing sounds really really good and one of my children well inherit it (hopefully in about 40 years)

That is honestly the best looking Suhr I have ever seen. I am sure the playability matches the looks. The money is already gone, let the guilt go with it - it's new guitar time.

so the day this guitar showed up my mother was diagnosed with leukemia.
Awaiting bone marrow results to come in and just have not felt like recording or even holding the guitar right now.
I’m sure it’s gonna be in full rotation in the near future but man this week is a kick in the teeth
