You mean like when classified info gets leaked to the press?

Like those rules to follow?
No I mean the court case between Washington DC and the White House. The one that’s actually relevant to this thread

OK, I get it, so you are only concerned when certain people follow the rules.

No you definitely don’t get it lol.
I’m just posting about a court case relevant to the topic of this thread. That’s how functioning adults talk to eachother

So, you have selective outrage then?

So, when any time DJT does anything, and there are all of these court cases, who pays for all of these lawsuits?

Also, DJT did it correctly, using the Home Rule Act.

Who pays for them? Probably the blue states since they make up the lions share of the gdp. Will it be extra money out anyone’s pockets? Nope

Also I think you should read up on the home rule acr

So you don't know.
Well lawyers and judges get paid, and that money has to come from somewhere. It isn't magic money.
You think they get paid from the GDP?
All of these frivolous lawsuits are almost certainly costing taxpayers.
Read up on the HRA, everything i'm seeing says he has 30 days.

lol you are very naive

Not really though. He is overstepping just with the 30 days
Not according to the law dude. Not even the democrats or the media are claiming otherwise.

By the way, unless I'm mistaken, the lawsuit currently underway is about extending the state of emergency.

I was talking about the DC attorney general filing a lawsuit against trump over the way he went about deploying the national guard

As for misdemeanors, I’ve already been down that road enough here in the ICE threads lol

Got my threads confused. Not paying attention. But I get it. And that's fine. Let em file lawsuits. The provision is there are for crime emergencies so I guess it may come down to what is considered an emergency. :dunno:

This is a quick copy/paste as to what I was trying to say earlier today. We've lost sight of why the District of Columbia was set up to begin with. To federalize to protect if needed.

"Founders etched out a quirky "federal district" which didn’t exist in a state. The Founders felt Pennsylvania was lax at guarding the original Congress. So developing their own "capital city" for Congress – with the government in control – would grant them security."

I agree that they need places and provisions to handle the people. Lets see what happens in 28 days.
