It's phoney, just like you.No. My Kemper is absolutely inspiring, no less than any amp I've played. I also own an OG Mark IIC+ and the Kemper gets 90% of the playing time.

Unless you have owned both a Kemper and tube amp at the same time, you can't really claim that one is better than the other. The only good thing to come out of modeling gear is TGP'ers started using the word "axe" again without being bitches about it.![]()
If you can't tell between playing a tube amp and a computer, I feel sorry for you.Unless you have owned both a Kemper and tube amp at the same time, you can't really claim that one is better than the other.
I bought a Quad Cortex a bit over a year ago and I love the tone and the feel of it! However there is something that is very inspiring even when playing tube amps thru a reactive load and listening to the tones thru high quality monitors. These are amazing times to be a guitarist! So many possibilities...
@DrewJD82 - when did you change your user name? Just noticed.

Recordings are a different animal.I’ll toss you a few clips tonight and you can dazzle us with how well you can tell which is which.
Exactly. These "tubes 4EVA" guys will be wrong at least half the time.I’ll toss you a few clips tonight and you can dazzle us with how well you can tell which is which.

Actual amp designed to work with electric guitar vs computer amp designed to mimic amps designed to work with electric guitar. Your recent posts and threads are hitting new lows brother.Unless you have owned both a Kemper and tube amp at the same time, you can't really claim that one is better than the other.
Nah, I've just never given modelers a thorough evaluation and I want to make sure that my bias for analog/tube stuff isn't coloring my perception of where they are now.Is this a trick question?
Tells me you've never played a Kemper, Brother.Actual amp designed to work with electric guitar vs computer amp designed to mimic amps designed to work with electric guitar. Your recent posts and threads are hitting new lows brother.
@Dan Gleesak really loves his but I am just not into computer stuff. Can I check my emails or send out press kits on it?Tells me you've never played a Kemper, Brother.
I do enjoy the tones, but I was a little disappointed when I couldn’t actually make toast with it@Dan Gleesak really loves his but I am just not into computer stuff. Can I check my emails or send out press kits on it?
I hear that. That's one of the big benefits of having the grill top on an old Marshall. I used to carry a small jar of polaner all fruit in my gig rig for after the show.I do enjoy the tones, but I was a little disappointed when I couldn’t actually make toast with it
